  • Program: INTEMPO
  • School: Nichols Elementary
  • Location: Stratford, Connecticut
  • Instrument: Viola, violin

Jasmine Cabello is a fourth-grade student at Nichols Elementary in Stratford, CT. She has been a member of INTEMPO for four years.

“Jasmine plays the viola and she has inspired her two younger sisters (and a baby on the way) to start playing the violin," says Angie Durrell, Founder and Executive Director of INTEMPO. "I admire her and her parents' commitment to their children’s music education because although they recently moved to Stratford, they still drive back to Stamford every week (30 miles each way) for their music lessons and to be able to continue being part of the INTEMPO family. They deserve to be parents and students of the month!"
