Tell us about yourself.

My name is Camila. I just turned 11 years old. I am in 5th grade and I’m the youngest out of three girls. I enjoy sports, music, playing video games with my sisters, and hanging out with my friends. I have been playing the charango for 2 years and piano for 3 years.

What has music taught you?

INTEMPO has taught me discipline and patience to play better and to learn notes of the music pieces I’m playing.

What is your favorite piece of music to play?

My favorite piece of music to play is The James Bond Theme 007 on the piano and for the charango I like playing Where We Belong.

What do you like to do for fun? Do you have any hobbies?

I like playing video games with my friends and sisters. I love playing soccer and going on bike rides with my parents in the summer.

What is your favorite subject in school? Why?

My favorite subjects in school are math and social studies. I like social studies because I enjoy learning about the Native Americans, and I like math because I like problem solving.

What are your plans for the future?

My plans for the future are to become an ECNL soccer player at a young age and then go to a pro club when I get older.
