Tell us a little bit about yourself. Who nominated you? How long have you been playing your instrument?

My name is Anthony and I am in fourth grade. My music and band teacher Ms. Cardamone nominated me. I just started playing the Trombone in September.

What has music and your program taught you?

How to start my instrument, play different notes, and read rhythms in both music class and band. I also have learned how to work and perform as a team.

What is your favorite piece of music to play?

I just started my trombone so we did not get to real songs yet. But my favorite song to listen to is “Up Around the Bend” by Creedence Clearwater Revival. My favorite song we sang in class was “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors.

What do you like to do for fun? Do you have any hobbies?

I like playing outside with my friends. I also like to ride my bike around the complex and play soccer. I even have a dirt bike track for riding my dirt bike.

What is your favorite subject in school? Why?

Math because it is interesting and I enjoy doing it.

What are your plans for the future?

I don’t know because I am only nine, but I am interested in being a soccer player.
