No. SpreadMusicNow does not conduct any of its own music education programs. We feel our mission is best served by identifying and supporting other nonprofits and schools that offer engaging and innovative music instruction.
We believe we can most easily accomplish our goals by providing financial support. However, in certain circumstances, SpreadMusicNow will utilize the expertise of the Board to provide advice and guidance on specific issues affecting a grantee.

Donations
SpreadMusicNow recognizes that there are numerous nonprofits and countless programs all attempting to fill the void in music education for children. As an individual donor looking to help, it can be very difficult to identify the right organization or programs to support. Based on the expertise of our Board, SpreadMusicNow allows your donation to support a wider number of organizations by channeling grants to the highest potential nonprofits in the music education arena. As a donor to SpreadMusicNow, you can feel confident that your generosity is bringing strong music education programs to the greatest number of children.
Donating to SpreadMusicNow is very simple. Just click on the Donate link and follow the instructions to donate online. If you choose, you may also send your contribution via check. Make your check payable to "SpreadMusicNow Fund" and mail it to: Fairfield County's Community Foundation, 40 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06854.
Yes, you can. Simply go to our Donate page, and check "I would like to make this gift in honor or memory of someone". In the spaces provided, include the name of the individual in whose honor your donation is being made, as well as the email address to which you would like an announcement sent. You can also include a personal message with your donation. SpreadMusicNow will send an acknowledgment of your kind contribution to your honoree or their loved ones via email.

SpreadMusicNow will accept local instrument donations for children's use at the Granite Church. Please contact us for more information.
Grants
Potential grantees include: nonprofit organizations, foundations, schools and community based programs. We do not provide grants or scholarships to individuals. Our goal is to identify and partner with those organizations which have the best potential to make a sustainable and measurable impact while reaching a broad number of children.
The SpreadMusicNow Fund does not accept unsolicited grant applications. However, we do encourage you to submit your organization's story through our Contact Us form so that we can get to know you and your vision.
Depending on the circumstances and the program/organization to which funds are being provided, multi-year grants will be considered.
