Through Music Empowers® Virtual Connections, we're working to facilitate remote music instruction and hosting a regularly updated clearinghouse of virtual music education resources to serve our students and help out-of-work artists with needed tools and resources while introducing them to our online community as we pivot to virtual life at this time of unprecedented crisis.
Our instructors are professional artists with experience in music education. All communications, scheduling and financial arrangements are handled directly between the teachers and the students or students’ families.
Virtual instruction is not a solution for some students who may not have access to the internet or computers, and we are seeking to address this through our grantee programs. Likewise, virtual instruction is not a true solution for artists, but hopefully, it helps some. Please try to support them in whatever way you can, such as streaming or buying their music, buying merch and looking out for virtual concerts they may host.
We will be updating this page regularly. If you're an artist looking to be added to the list, please fill out our virtual connections form here. The virtual connections we create will benefit both students and artists as we build and strengthen our community at large. We're all in this together!
