Policy &Advocacy

SpreadMusicNow advocates for forward-thinking music education policy. See what we have to say.

In addition to funding music education for underserved youth, SpreadMusicNow works to inform public policy as a means of achieving our three strategic priorities:

  • Building awareness and support for music and arts education
  • Strengthening the capacity of the nonprofit and public music education sectors.

Through opinions and analysis, we seek to advance and modernize music education initiatives at the state, local and NGO-level.

Here, you’ll find some of our positions and thought leadership. We welcome additional viewpoints; if you're interested in blogging here or submitting a perspective on a music or general education topic, please email us at admin@spreadmusicnow.org.
