My music teacher Miss Cardamone nominated me. I started band this year and have been playing the flute for five months.

What has music and your program taught you?

Music has taught me how to play the flute, read rhythm and notes, and create my own rhythms through my flute.

What is your favorite piece of music to play?

Fifty Nifty in music class and Merrily We Roll Along on flute.

What do you like to do for fun? Do you have any hobbies?

Play the flute, play in the snow and play video games.

What is your favorite subject in school? Why?

Math because there are so many different ways to learn math. There are also so many different types of math and without learning math you can't learn algebra and harder math. We also use math in music.

What are your plans for the future?

Being a barber like my dad, a baseball catcher and playing flute in the band.
