Injustice against one of us is injustice against all of us.

Our mission supports music education in underserved communities and ultimately seeks to strengthen these communities by addressing one aspect of the economic inequities that lead to the very need for an organization like ours.

The majority of those we serve are children of color who endure the systemic, institutional racism endemic in American culture while they seek to strengthen their minds and develop their character through the transformative power of music education. The unconscionable violence inflicted upon members of their communities and people of color across the country shapes the perspectives and impacts the development of these young Americans.

At SpreadMusicNow, we have a platform and a community of our own, and it includes the families and neighbors of the children we serve. We have an obligation— a moral and ethical responsibility that is baked into our mission— to support our brothers and sisters who are demanding the justice denied them by the very institutions tasked with preserving and protecting the rights of all Americans. Today we stand with them. Injustice against one of us is injustice against all of us.
