February Music Student of the Month

Ms.Conrad of Danbury Public Schools in Connecticut nominated Gabriella to be SpreadMusicNow’s Music Student of the Month. Congrats, Gabriella! We can't wait to see what you accomplish.

Tell us a little bit about yourself. Who nominated you? How long have you been playing your instrument?

Ms. Conrad nominated me and I have been playing clarinet since August 2019.

What has music taught you?

I learned that making and playing music can be challenging and takes a lot of practice.

What do you like to do for fun? Do you have any hobbies?

I like to do gymnastics, play with my friends, and make people laugh. I also like to sing and harmonize with my mom and sister, Emily.

What is your favorite subject in school? Why?

I like music because we get to listen to songs and visualize them. Sometimes we do a dance to the songs.

What are your plans for the future?

I want to be a singing veterinarian. I would sing songs to my animals and help them feel better and help them to fall asleep.
