James Quispo is a 10th grader from Stamford, Connecticut who plays the violin, cello, and guitar. "Throughout the years with INTEMPO I have developed responsibility and discipline," said James. "These two things have helped me grow as a person."

Eden-Grace Bailey is a 17-year-old student that recently graduated as class valedictorian from the Christian Academy of Arts Science and Technology in Tolland, Connecticut. At Charter Oak Cultural Center’s Youth Arts Institute, Eden was in Hartford’s All-City Youth Orchestra (HACYO) and took part in ballet and voice. Eden is the perfect example of how success in academics and the arts are closely intertwined.
Our friends at KEYS Music nominated Samantha Lundstrom for SpreadMusicNow's July Music Student of the Month. Samantha is a senior in Bridgeport, CT and is a pianist and vocalist.
Alina Caba from Danbury Public Schools is SpreadMusicNow's Music Student of the Month for June. Alina is a 6th grader who plays the violin. She was nominated by Mary Peters, the Orchestra Director.
Our April Music Student of the Month goes to Alani Mya Justice Hall! She's in the 4th grade in San Pedro, California, and has used the Little Kids Rock program to further her music education. Alani is a singer and plays the piano and ukulele.
This is Jeremy Williams’ fourteenth year teaching band. He is the band director of the Marrero Middle School Mustang Band in Marrero, Louisiana. Williams has been playing music for the last thirty years. He started playing at the young age of seven when the trombone was bigger than him. Williams grew up in a family surrounded by music. His father played the trombone, which in turn inspired his brother to start playing, and then when Williams came along, he saw everyone having fun playing music, so he had to join in too.
Announcing our March Music Student of the Month: Kemauri Hampton! Kemauri is a 7th grader in Louisiana who was nominated by his teacher, Mr. Williams.
A big congrats to our February Music Student of the Month, Gabriella Gentile. She has been playing the clarinet since 2019, and we love her plans for the future that combine her love of music and animals!
This is the first time we’ve had the honor of showcasing two music students at once, and the first time we’ve had twins! INTEMPO’s lead teaching artist, Scott Hill, nominated Aman and Akash Vishnubhatta for SpreadMusicNow’s January Music Student of the Month.
