Iker Tipismana is in the band program at Toquam Magnet School in Stamford, Connecticut. He is in fifth grade and plays the violin.

Nathan Daniel Serrano is a 12-year-old student at Hartford Magnet Trinity Academy in Hartford, Connecticut. Nathan is a talented alto saxophone and piano player as well as a creative writer and artist, aspiring to become an architect one day.

Kierstin Gillespie is our January Music Student of the Month! Kierstin is in fourth grade at Morris Street School where she plays the clarinet. She loves to sing and dance and wants to go to college to become an astronomer.

12-year old Nathaniel Caballeros is our December Music Student of the Month! Nathaniel plays both the violin and the viola and is a student at INTEMPO in Stamford, Connecticut. He plays hockey and enjoys practicing his instruments and listening to music during the day. Nathaniel likes science and want to pursue particle physics in his studies, while continuing to learn music.

Andrea Cotto-Juarbe is our November Music Student of the Month! Andrea is a 13-year-old student at Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy in Hartford, Connecticut. She has been a Youth Arts student for a year and attends the program alongside her sister one night a week. Andrea has a love for music and gymnastics and is an aspiring author. She believes that music can positively impact the lives of others as it has done for her.

Congratulations to our October Music Student of the Month, Darian! Darian Uzhca is in the band program at Morris Street School in Danbury, Connecticut. He's in fourth grade and plays the trombone.

Music is my meditation. It quiets my mind, focuses my energy, brings me closer to my loved ones, and has been the path to many new friendships.

A big congratulations to the August SpreadMusicNow Music Student of the Month, Elijah Hines! Elijah participates in Neighborhood Studios' music program in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He's a junior in high school and has been playing the guitar since elementary school.

Meet Samir - our July Music Student of the Month! Samir Reyes participates in the band, chorus, and music programs at Danbury Public Schools in Connecticut. He's in fourth grade and plays the flute. Congrats!
