Andrea Cotto-Juarbe is our November Music Student of the Month! Andrea is a 13-year-old student at Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy in Hartford, Connecticut. She has been a Youth Arts student for a year and attends the program alongside her sister one night a week. Andrea has a love for music and gymnastics and is an aspiring author. She believes that music can positively impact the lives of others as it has done for her.
Congratulations to our October Music Student of the Month, Darian! Darian Uzhca is in the band program at Morris Street School in Danbury, Connecticut. He's in fourth grade and plays the trombone.

Meet Samir - our July Music Student of the Month! Samir Reyes participates in the band, chorus, and music programs at Danbury Public Schools in Connecticut. He's in fourth grade and plays the flute. Congrats!
Natalia is our June Music Student of the Month! She plays both the violin and clarinet at Renzulli Academy and Charter Oak Cultural Center. Natalia is passionate about music, loves to sing, and laugh with her friends.
Congrats to Aiden, our May Music Student of the Month! Aidan uses TeachRock lessons at Tourtellotte Memorial High School in Thompson, CT. He's a 16-year-old junior who plays the trumpet, bass, and vocals.
I was going to be a rock star, not a nonprofit leader. My musical consciousness blossomed in 4th grade—the late 80s. I still remember the first time I purchased my own music. It was two cassettes: Poison, “Look What the Cat Dragged In” and DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, “He’s the DJ, I’m the Rapper.”
Our Music Student of the Month is Brooke Guinyard. Brooke is in the band program at Danbury Public Schools in Connecticut. She's in fourth grade and has been playing the clarinet for five months. Congrats, Brooke!
