A City, A University, and A School District: New Haven’s Musical Partnership
March is Music in Our Schools Month so we've been focusing our efforts on showcasing the benefits of in-school music education and finding programs that understand its value. We asked Rachel Glodo of the Yale School of Music to share her story regarding the Music in Schools Initiative and their mission to support strong in-school music education. Many of their graduate students spend hours each week in a public school music classroom, coaching, mentoring, and supporting New Haven’s young musicians. Learn more about this impactful partnership.
